These are some nature sounds from our recent crescendo into Spring, which is a remarkable season. All I want to do is lay in the sun, in fields, on basketball courts, in blankets, and feel my hair heat up, and my cheeks reddening; and do nothing else. Ancient messages are being unearthed, all the time, all around us. -Lake, April 2019

It's always nice when the neighbors send their crews away, turn off the weedwackers, and drive to God knows where, because then the birds return, and we hang out. -Gorham, Maine

Thank you for tolerating us. We have to do better. Did you know there is no ban on harmful synethetic and toxic pesticides in Gorham, Maine? Is this a yard, or a sanctuary?
